Want a video about football, cooking, or a creator someone told you about? Type it in and go straight there, instead of swiping until your feed happens to bring it up. Search runs across every video in your language, and you can narrow what comes back by level, so a hit is not only on topic but one you can follow.
A learner told us by email they'd find it useful to search, so we want to add a free-text search box. We already know what every video is about, who made it and which words are spoken in it. What's left is building a fast search on top of that, most likely with a provider like Algolia under the hood.
